Meet the Breeders

Claire has been breeding dogs since 1982 when she raised Siberian Huskies for show and competitive sled dog racing.  She has also bred and raised horses and cows.  Claire and Renald have 3 children and 2 grandchildren between them.

Claire is actively involved in the development of both ALAC – Australian Labradoodle Association of Canada as their Registrar and Quality Assurance officer as well as being one of the two elected Canadian representatives to the executive board of IALA  the International Australian Labradoodle Association.

Labradoodles are a lifetime commitment for Claire and Renald, with a total dedication to producing an incomparable companion dog with optimum genetics that will enhance anyone’s life. We are exceptionally selective of our breeding stock and our puppies possess an unbridled desire to become a true member of your family making them easy to train and a delight to own. Labradoodles, while good watch dogs, are totally lacking in aggression. They are sociable with other animals including cats. We have Labradoodles suited to living with a variety of humans from seniors to infants and we have puppies happy to live in an inner city condominium as well as puppies who adore being physically challenged and participating in sporting and athletic endeavours.

At Whipple Tree, we’re all one wagon, pulling together to continually improve the Australian
Labradoodle breed. We breed our Labradoodles for the pure joy of it and never simply for profit of any kind.

Choosing the right breeder is THE single most important decision you will make when choosing your new Labradoodle puppy. Please refer to Choosing a Breeder for more information.
